Cullberg Ballet:The Plateau Effect

Cullberg Ballet:The Plateau Effect

At Sadler's Wells

Price from € 33.80

As part of the Northen Light season, the company the Cullberg Ballet makes its debut at Sadler's Well with the UK premiere of 'The Plateau Effect'. In this new work, Dutch/Swedish choreographer Jefta van Dinther seeks to challenge audiences with a layering of choreography, light and sound and set.

In 'The Plateau Effect', the dancers form a community that is constantly on the move as they progress through a series of disorientating and intriguing large scale environments. The viewer's attention intersects between the dancer's movements and the materials they interact with, as the choreographer encourages the audiences to embrace what they do not understand.
