Bend It Like Beckham is written by Paul Mayeda Berges and was a big film success in 2002 with Keira Knightley in the leading role and directed by Gurinder Chadha. Gurinder Chadha will direct also direct this musical version, with choreography and musical staging by Aletta Collins.
